Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to conduct English language assessments for ILSC Toronto.

Job Duties:

The selected candidates will be responsible for evaluating Speaking tests according to IELTS standards, maintaining confidentiality and security, and complying with the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality Undertaking.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating Speaking test takers primarily on Saturdays, with occasional shifts on Sundays and Thursdays. Weekday testing may be available in some locations.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and security protocols at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality Undertaking.

Required Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate or Master's degree, or a qualification equivalent to an undergraduate or Master's degree.
  • A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a recognized equivalent as part of a recognized university award course.
  • At least one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience, with the majority relating to adult students (21+ years old).
  • The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Package:

ILSC Education Group offers a competitive salary of $CAD 50,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus benefits including health insurance and retirement savings plan.
