We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at AMAZING BAKERY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and service meet our high standards.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are working effectively together as a team.
- Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare and submit reports, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skill Set: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
