Server - Eataly Sherway Gardens

A Server at Eataly is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Greets guests and presents them with the menu
- Informs guests of specials, menu changes, and answers questions regarding food, beverages, and allergies
- Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
- Coordinates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure seamless service
- Presents, opens, and pours wine and beer when serving guests
- Assists the table support team with stocking work stations, removing, and resetting used dishes/silverware
- Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
