**Overview**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day activities of our restaurant staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and train team members, and ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary Range:** $50,000 - $60,000 per year

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal customer service;
  • SUPERVISING AND COORDINATING ACTIVITIES OF STAFF, who prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality control and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations;
  • TRAINING STAFF in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safe working practices;
  • ESTIMATING INGREDIENTS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED for meal preparation, ensuring timely ordering and inventory management;
  • HIRING FOOD SERVICE STAFF based on business needs and qualifications;
  • ENSURING FOOD AND SERVICE MEET QUALITY CONTROL STANDARDS, addressing customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally;
  • PREPARING BUDGET AND COST ESTIMATES to optimize resource allocation and profitability;
  • Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform strategic decisions;
  • PREPARING AND SUBMITTING REPORTS on performance and progress to senior management.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management position within the food service industry;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as quality control standards;
  • Proficiency in using technology to manage inventory, track sales, and maintain records;
  • A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and building a positive brand image.

**Benefits**
