Job Title: Restaurant Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Supervisor to join our team at PK Banff Inc. This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours of work per week.

About the Role
  • This key role is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day restaurant operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high-quality food standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing staff and overseeing daily operations.
Salary

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient preparation and presentation of menu items.
  • Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Maintain open communication with staff, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts promptly.
Operations Management
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
Customer Service
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding expectations when possible.
Work Environment
  • This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Degree in Hospitality, Food Service, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other tasks as required.
