Job Summary

Passport Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing travel counseling, vaccinations, and general travel health advice to clients traveling abroad.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel Counseling: Meet with clients one-on-one to discuss their travel plans and provide personalized health advice.
  • Vaccination Administration: Administer vaccinations and medications to clients in accordance with Passport Health's Standard of Care.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they understand their health risks and take necessary precautions.
  • Medical Directives: Follow medical directives to ensure safe and effective administration of vaccines and medications.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Nurse Management Team to train new staff and ensure seamless client care.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse certification with current license in good standing.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in travel medicine, either in a private clinic or public health setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Certifications: First Aid/CPR certified and ability to successfully pass a background check.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals, intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and supporting patients.
  • Work Schedule: Must be available to work Monday - Saturday (30 hours/week) (8 hour shifts).
