Position Overview

As a Veterinary Technician at WORLDWIDE ANIMAL TRAVEL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of animals in our care. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality support during treatments and surgeries.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Equivalent experience may also be considered
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely handle, restrain, and provide care for animals undergoing medical procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
  • Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the veterinarian
  • Advise clients on best practices for animal health care
  • Perform various office management and administrative tasks
  • Deliver nursing care and rehabilitation services for animals
  • Administer wound care and bandaging
  • Effectively manage animal handling tasks
Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Physical stamina for walking and standing for extended periods
