Job Title: Retail Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our team at Palmer Automotive & Truck Center/Palmer Parts & Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling automotive parts and accessories, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell and promote automotive parts and accessories to customers, ensuring a high level of product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
  • Process customer transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the warehouse, tool room, and supply area.
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
  • Participate in sales calls, promotions, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
