About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Harbinger Network Inc. in the Brantford area. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating with multiple departments and scheduling and planning all preventative maintenance tasks in the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure safety regulations are being adhered to and maintain a safe working environment
  2. Work with a variety of vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services
  3. Manage accurate parts inventory and ensure the PM program meets or exceeds OEM standards
  4. Utilize SAP regularly to track and manage maintenance activities
  5. Help identify and allocate resources to meet maintenance needs
  6. Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure adequate spare parts are kept onsite
  7. Manage inventory, send RFQs to potential new suppliers and current vendors
  8. Create and track work orders to ensure efficient maintenance operations

  1. A competitive salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year

Requirements
  1. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  2. Three or more years of direct experience with SAP, preferably in the Maintenance Module
  3. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  4. Three or more years of experience as a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator/Scheduler
  5. Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills
  6. Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  7. Able to recognize parts without constantly looking them up
  8. Able to work in conjunction with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Operations team members
