Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

ETLAS FREIGHT is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation fleet. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods from point of origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are in line with company policies.
  • Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation operations comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and monitor revenue.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of more than 20 people.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, proactive.
