Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at ETLAS FREIGHT. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize costs.
  • Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure transport compliance with regulations to avoid fines and penalties.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate for services and preferential rates with transportation providers.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and monitor revenue.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, and supervise a team of over 20 people.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Trucking company.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
