Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Satellite Communications Capability Sustainment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued operability and effectiveness of our satellite communication systems.
Responsibilities- System Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement satellite communication systems that meet or exceed client requirements.
- Technical Documentation: Create high-quality technical documentation, including statements of work, analysis reports, and technical specifications, for IM/IT projects valued at $5M or more.
- Engineering Support: Provide expert engineering support for the development, testing, and deployment of satellite communication systems.
- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS): Plan and manage ILS activities to ensure seamless system integration and support.
- In-Service Support (ISS): Develop and implement ISS strategies to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
- Candidates must possess: An Engineering or Science degree from a recognized Canadian University, or a non-Canadian Engineering or Science degree accredited by one of the following institutions: CICIC, WES, or University of Toronto Comparative Education Services.
- Experience: A minimum of ten years of experience within the last twenty years as a Satellite Communication Specialist, with a minimum of five years of experience writing technical documentation for IM/IT projects valued at $5M or more, and a minimum of five years of experience performing engineering design, test, or analysis of satellite systems.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
