High-Performance Satellite Software Engineer

Telesat, a leading global satellite operator, is seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our team.
We offer a highly competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge LightSpeed Software. You will engage with both the test and support teams to ensure comprehensive testing and efficient bug resolution.
- You will lead technical discussions and guide decision-making processes.
- You will take ownership of specific software modules, overseeing their development, quality, and functionality.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience in embedded systems (Linux and ARM cores).
- Experience with Agile scrum methodology (SAFe).
- Good understanding of L1/L2 networking protocols (IPSEC, MACsec, secure tunnel), NETCONF.
- Experience with platform module for platform security.
