We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Exotic Indian Eats. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work closely with our head chef to develop menus, manage inventory, and implement efficient kitchen systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision;
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen systems to ensure efficient food production and minimize waste;
  • Collaborate with our head chef to create innovative and delicious menus that meet customer demand;
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines;
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations;
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and optimize supply chain logistics;
  • Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between kitchen and service staff;
  • Contribute to the development of our company culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior kitchen management position, preferably in a similar cuisine;
  • Demonstrated expertise in kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements;
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.
