Job Overview

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Improvement Specialist to join its Business Process Re-Engineering team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with consultants to gather and analyze business data, design and implement recommendations, and cultivate relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and assess business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategic solutions to optimize cross-functional operations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on business process management principles and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders to promote change and adoption of productivity improvements.
  • Cultivate a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage Bank resources to support team objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture and ensure day-to-day activities are consistent with these guidelines.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences.
