Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Lead to spearhead our data science initiatives at McKesson's Corporate. As a key member of our team, you will drive innovation and implement advanced AI solutions to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Science Initiatives: Develop and implement machine learning and AI solutions to address business challenges, leveraging your expertise in statistical modeling and AI techniques.
  • Drive Business Insights: Oversee the analysis of large, complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and inform decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Design and Conduct Experiments: Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and improve models, utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive modeling and data mining.
  • Build and Maintain Data Pipelines: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing systems, ensuring high-quality data delivery to support business decisions.
  • Communicate Findings: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualizations, reports, and presentations, effectively conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay Current with Industry Advancements: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
  • Mentor and Guide Junior Data Scientists: Mentor and guide junior data scientists to ensure high-quality deliverables, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of leading data science projects and driving business outcomes.
  • Expertise: Expertise in AI, machine learning, NLP, LLM, and advanced analytics, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Databricks) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), with experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (French and English) preferred.
