Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Physician Anesthesiologist to join our Sickle Cell Disease Program at SickKids. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with sickle cell disease. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with an estimated annual salary range of $250,000-$300,000.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Physician Anesthesiologist will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing anesthesia plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Providing perioperative care to patients with sickle cell disease
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and participating in quality improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD) or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anesthesiology
- At least 5 years of experience in pediatric anesthesiology
