Executive Culinary Chef

At Downtown Village, we are seeking an accomplished Executive Culinary Chef to join our team. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for leading the culinary department and ensuring that all food served meets the highest standards of quality.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef looking to take on a leadership position. As Executive Culinary Chef, you will oversee menu planning, kitchen operations, and staff management. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement new menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Supervise a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard, using fresh and sustainable ingredients whenever possible
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- 1-2 years' experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a similar environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
