Activities Coordinator

Sunrise Senior Living is a community that provides a supportive and engaging environment for our residents. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a sense of purpose and fulfillment for our residents by planning and implementing activities that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning and implementing a balanced activity program that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with the community team to ensure that activities are aligned with the community's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to secure resources and support for activities.
- Review and update the daily log and department log to document resident interactions and activity information.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that activities are delivered in accordance with Sunrise's quality standards.
- One year of experience in a senior living community or a related field.
- Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
