A skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is sought after to join our interdisciplinary team at Edgewood Health Network Inc. The successful candidate will provide medical care, recovery therapies, and daily support to clients in our detox and addictions residential treatment program.

Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, the LPN will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough clinical assessments during patient intake and discharge processes
Gathering medical, mental health, and substance use histories
Collecting urine samples for substance screening and other diagnostic tests
Administering medications as per facility protocols and policies
Providing nursing care and interventions during medically supervised detoxification
Monitoring vital signs, administering scheduled and PRN medications, and responding to acute emergencies
Documenting patient progress and interactions with healthcare professionals
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Participating in quality assurance initiatives and contributing to policy development
Maintaining accurate records and completing administrative tasks as required
General cleaning and sanitizing of patient areas
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A valid and current LPN license with the College of Nurses of British Columbia
Trauma-informed training or experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification
Clear criminal record check through the Ministry of Justice
Valid Class 5 Driver's License in good standing

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
