Healthcare Professional - Occupational Therapist
About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Government of Northwest Territories. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities to develop the skills and strategies they need to live independently.
Key Responsibilities- To work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address occupational performance needs.
- To assess and evaluate patients' abilities and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.
- To provide evidence-based interventions to promote independence, safety, and well-being.
In order to be successful as an Occupational Therapist with our team, you must possess:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body.
- Experience working with adults and children with a variety of disabilities.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
