About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Yorkville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the procedures.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure our dental team has the necessary materials to perform their duties.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent the spread of infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene by providing them with information on how to maintain good oral health.
  • Take and develop X-rays to help diagnose dental issues and develop treatment plans.
  • Invoice patients for dental services to ensure accurate and timely billing.
