Job Title: Roofing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. in Nova Scotia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of roofers, coordinating projects, and ensuring the highest quality of work. If you have a strong background in roofing and excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of roofers to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site.
  • Recommend personnel actions and make decisions regarding team member performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40 to 50 hour workweek. The work site environment is outdoors, and at heights. The work setting is construction, commercial, and industrial.
