Job Title: Roofing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of roofing crews
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and development
  • Recommend personnel actions and ensure effective team management
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work under pressure and overtime as required

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-50 hour workweek. You will be working outdoors at heights, and in a construction environment.
