Job Title: Roofing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. as a key member of our roofing operations team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of roofers, coordinating projects, and ensuring the successful completion of roofing projects. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of roofers and ensure the successful completion of roofing projects
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend personnel actions and ensure a positive work environment
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure the successful completion of projects
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
