About the Role

As a Senior Client Manager at Aon, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients with a significant level of annual brokerage. Your primary goal will be to achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service through managing the overall reinsurance placement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients with a significant level of annual brokerage
  • Achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service through managing the overall reinsurance placement process
  • Focus on helping senior leaders grow existing accounts and attract new accounts
  • Be widely recognized as an expert with outstanding problem-solving abilities and top-notch client relationship management capabilities
  • Work closely with management to establish and implement strategy for new business development
  • Inform clients about other Aon products and services that can help them manage their business needs
  • Ensure that comprehensive and accurate contracts document the relationship between cedant and reinsurer
  • Demonstrate leadership within Aon and the insurance/reinsurance industry
  • Have superior knowledge of the service offerings of Aon
  • Work with management to research and develop new approaches and concepts
  • Foster and promote a team approach to both internal and external business relationships
  • Manage account team members to ensure they are meeting clients' needs
  • Be committed to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance, and associated analytics
  • Excellent bilingual (French and English) communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients
  • Strong organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and manage projects
  • Committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality, and results
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions
  • Ability to embrace change in support of the business unit's and company's goals
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications
  • Professional designations, for example CIP or CIA membership, will be an asset
