About the Role

Bombardier is a global leader in aviation, focused on designing, manufacturing, and servicing exceptional business jets and specialized mission platforms. We're seeking a skilled Aircraft Planner to join our team at the Opa Locka Service Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to General Work Requirements and input data into systems as required
  • Research and administer special programs, including warranty, Smart Parts, and open delivery items
  • Work with customers to clarify requirements and ensure customer expectations are met
  • Assist in creating project flow charts and other management tools in support of aircraft visits
  • Determine resource availability, such as tools and/or components, coordinating with resource providers on issues that could impact the Master Schedule
  • Create aircraft work packages in a logical and efficient manner, including identification of material, tooling, and manpower requirements prior to scheduled induction
  • Attend customer debriefs (or pre-inducts) prior to aircraft arrival as required
  • Maintain and assist in developing aircraft model-specific technical information, such as airframe, engine, avionics, and paint/interior
Requirements
  • Typically, 2 years of planning experience, preferably in an aircraft maintenance environment
  • Computer skills necessary to learn and operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, project, email, and web-based applications
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, customers, management, and contractors
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting with rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to analyze risk and make sound business decisions
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis, preferred
  • Previous experience with SAP, Maximo, and/or Pivotal, preferred
