Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MacDonell's Small Jobs Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and repair of buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials.

Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with varying work conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for building projects
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, and other fixtures
  • Maintain and repair buildings and structures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
