Beverage Service Specialist - Pomeroy Lodging LP
We are seeking a skilled Beverage Service Specialist to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our guests in a fast-paced, upscale establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests at the bar, providing a personalized and attentive experience.
- Fulfill all servers' bar orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement creative cocktail menus, incorporating locally inspired seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and restocking of supplies.
- Process cash and non-cash transactions accurately, utilizing point-of-sale systems.
- Assist in the overall success of our food and beverage outlets, including serving tables and running food as needed.
- Participate in daily bar preparation, assisting in the creation of house-made syrups and garnishes.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale establishment.
- Valid ProServe certification.
- Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without compromising quality.
