Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bartender/Mixologist to join our team at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, creating innovative cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve guests at the bar, providing exceptional service and creating a memorable experience.
  • Fulfill all servers' bar orders and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Develop and implement new cocktail recipes, using locally inspired ingredients and flavors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking supplies and tracking popular drinks.
  • Handle cash and non-cash transactions accurately and process payments on the POS system.
  • Assist with serving tables, running food, and contributing to the overall success of our food and beverage outlets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of bartending experience in an upscale establishment.
  • Valid ProServe certification.
  • Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without sacrificing quality.
