Your key responsibilities will include redesigning the organizational strategy, structure, and culture to focus on client service excellence.

  • You will oversee licensing and registration and ensure compliance with regards to gaming, liquor, and amusement activities in Nova Scotia.
  • You will foster and maintain relationships with various stakeholders to further the interests of the public good.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., public administration, human resources, business/commerce) coupled with several years of progressive related work experience including experience at the senior leadership level.

  • Extensive experience in a regulatory role is necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Liquor Control Act, Gaming Control Act, Revenue Act, Tobacco Act and associated Regulations and Policies is an asset.
