About the Role

SKYTRAC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team in Kelowna, BC. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the general accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, accounting processes, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Lead the design and implementation of accounting processes and procedures
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department and mentor finance team members
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, federal, and international government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Proactively manage and report on cash position and working capital levels
Requirements
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting experience, with 2+ years of post-designation financial leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or similar field
  • Canadian CPA designation
  • Experience working in a high transaction volume environment and designing automated/scalable processes to support growth
