Resort Restaurant Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan special events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Contribute to administrative functions, including inventory management, ordering, and reporting, to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining the general housekeeping of the resort, including guest suites, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and present quality food, service, and cleanliness standards, driving excellence in resort operations.
- Ensure effective communication throughout the resort, department, and resort, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support the Manager and Team Lead in training, coaching, and building a successful and enthusiastic team of employees, promoting growth and development.
- Verify that all restaurant processes are carried out accurately, including cash-out, closing, and opening procedures.
- Work flexible shifts with varying hours, primarily working part-time between 24 to 40 hours per week, weather permitting.
Requirements:
- Previous resort restaurant supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Knowledge of food and service principles, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- A Serving it Right Certificate, demonstrating a commitment to responsible service practices.
- Previous customer service and supervisory experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Previous experience with cash handling and administration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Point-of-Sale software, with a strong ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
- A current Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 3 certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ability to withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions, including rain, snow, wind, and cold, in a mountain environment.
