About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Eagle's Eye team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our resort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing, implementing, and monitoring schedules to ensure seamless resort operations.
- Train, coach, and build a successful and enthusiastic team of employees to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll information.
- Contribute to administrative functions, including inventory management, ordering, and reporting.
- Maintain effective communication with restaurant, department, and resort teams.
- Assist with coordination, planning, and organization of special events.
- Ensure all restaurant processes are carried out accurately, including cash-out, closing, and opening procedures.
- Participate in the department's Health and Safety program and maintain a safe work environment.
- Recommend and implement changes to achieve Food & Beverage strategies and objectives.
- Set clear expectations for the team and follow up on any disciplinary issues.
- Contribute to general housekeeping of the restaurant and guest suites.
- Work flexible shifts with varying hours, primarily working part-time between 24 to 40 hours per week, weather permitting.
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant supervisory experience with a focus on customer service.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fine food, wine, and service.
- Experience with cash handling and administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Point-of-Sale software.
- Current Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 3 – asset, not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions in a mountain environment.
