Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resort Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at one of our properties. This is a part-time opportunity with varying hours, primarily working 24-40 hours per week, weather permitting.

About the Role

The Resort Restaurant Team Lead will be responsible for assisting with coordination, planning, and organization of special events, contributing to administrative functions such as inventory management, ordering, and reporting, and maintaining effective communications throughout the restaurant, department, and resort.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Contribute to administrative tasks, including inventory management and ordering
  • Maintain open communication channels
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Stand for extended periods and lift light objects
  • Withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions in a mountain environment

Requirements

  • Previous resort restaurant supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of food and service
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Previous customer service and supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with cash handling and administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Point-of-Sale software
  • Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification (asset)
