Are you a skilled claims professional looking for a new challenge? Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a seasoned Claims Management Specialist to lead our Auto Appraisal Unit team in Calgary.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact on our customers' experiences. As a Claims Management Specialist, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our Field Appraisal team to achieve quality and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and coordinate the activities to achieve quality and compliance objectives of the repairs performed by vendors, in accordance with Intact policies and procedures.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to internal and external estimators, focusing on indemnity and expense control, as well as optimal customer experience.
- Develop and implement analyses and recommendations to increase efficiency within the sector.
- Manage the activities of your team by organizing, planning, and controlling the use of human, financial, and material resources according to budget.
- Support our trusted networks' teams with complaints related to estimates.
- Participate in existing committees in the field of estimation and stay aware of industry techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of management, coaching, and mentoring experience, preferably within a claims environment.
- Knowledge of the appraisal process and software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Project management and change management skills are an asset.
- Ability to engage and mobilize a team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
