Job Title: Concrete Finishing Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Supervisor to join our team at IM Concrete Finishing Services Ltd. As a Concrete Finishing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of concrete finishing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of concrete finishing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Train and develop the skills of concrete finishing team members to improve their performance and efficiency.
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Work Environment:

  • On the road job.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.

Support for Visible Minorities:

  • Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
