We are seeking a Child Protection Worker to join our team in Central West-Rosetown or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $31,860 - $39,929 per year.

Job Description

As a Child Protection Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in need. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing support and guidance to families to help them overcome challenges and improve their circumstances;
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to develop and implement plans to protect children at risk;
  • Conducting home visits and assessments to determine the needs of children and families;
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to address the needs of children and families.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in social work or a related field;
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children and families;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
