Casual Scheduling Coordinator
About the Role:
As a Casual Scheduling Coordinator at Paladin Security, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and updating work schedules for frontline security employees in the Calgary branch. You will work closely with Client Service Managers to strategically plan schedules and ensure accurate client and worksite information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and update work schedules for frontline security employees
- Work with Client Service Managers to plan schedules and maintain accurate client and worksite information
- Facilitate effective communication across departments regarding vacation requests, shift pick-ups, and last-minute book-offs
- Capture and report statistics related to overtime usage and develop strategies to minimize it
- Conduct audits and maintain accuracy of all entries in the scheduling software (WinTeam)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Post-Secondary education is an asset)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of scheduling or scheduling software is an asset
- Ability to work well in a team environment and thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Flexible schedule to work a variety of shifts throughout the week
