Executive Director, Toronto Dementia Research Alliance

The University of Toronto invites applications for an Executive Director in the Toronto Dementia Research Alliance (TDRA). This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing the university's research and clinical goals in dementia.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement long-term plans and strategies to advance TDRA's vision, mission, and research goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector organizations, and philanthropic donors.
- Lead a team of researchers and clinicians to develop and implement innovative research projects and clinical programs.
- Collaborate with the TDRA Executive Committee, Research Operations Committee, Clinical Table, Scientific Advisory Committee, and Lived Experience Advisory Panel to ensure alignment with the university's research and clinical goals.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and reporting systems to ensure effective and efficient management of resources.
- World-class scientist and academic in the field of cognitive impairment/dementia.
- Established leadership and management track record in clinical research.
- Respected opinion leader with strong managerial executive leadership capability.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of human resource management, financial planning, and management.
- Experience and practical skills in communication, problem-solving, organizational program dynamics, project management, consensus building, and fundraising.
- Values collaboration and integration among researchers and sites, has proven mentorship skills, and the capacity/credibility to lead collaborations in a multi-institutional, interdisciplinary network.
