Job Summary:The University of Toronto is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Executive Director of Dementia Research. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-renowned academic institution and contribute to the advancement of dementia research.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy to advance dementia research and care.
- Lead a team of researchers and clinicians to achieve research goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry, government, and non-profit organizations to secure funding and resources.
- Develop and implement a plan to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in research and access to resources and support.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the research team, ensuring alignment with the University's research priorities.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and leadership experience in dementia and Alzheimer's disease. A PhD in a relevant field and a proven ability to secure funding and resources are essential. The candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
