Job Title: Route Driver

We are seeking a skilled Route Driver to join our team at Little Big Recycling. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver goods
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Sell products over established routes and assemble, install, and set up merchandise as needed
  • Load and unload goods, use maps and other trip planning aids, and record trip information
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and maintain a clean and safe vehicle
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local and regional transportation/travel experience
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability
