Job Title: Route Driver

We are seeking a skilled Route Driver to join our team at Little Big Recycling. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle to transport goods and materials to and from our facilities and customers.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during trips.
  • Collaborate with dispatch team to plan and optimize routes for maximum efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime
