Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care in accordance with established standards and protocols. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of resident-centered care and promote a culture of compassion and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate resident needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and services
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
  • Post-basic education in gerontology an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
