About This Role:


We are seeking a skilled Senior Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team in the Waterloo Region. As a member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, client-centered care to individuals with complex physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.


Job Description:


This role requires a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therists of Ontario. Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred.


You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans

As a Senior Rehabilitation Therapist at SE Health, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Requirements:


To be successful as a Senior Rehabilitation Therapist at SE Health, you must have:


  • A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs (an asset)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
