Job Title: Boarding Kennel Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boarding Kennel Manager to join our team at Diamond in the Ruff. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our kennel, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our canine guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Direct and control daily kennel operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff, resources, and facilities.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise a team of staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality animal care.
  • Animal Care: Oversee the daily care and well-being of our canine guests, including feeding, exercise, and health checks.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our kennel facilities, including cages, pens, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, preferably in a kennel or animal training environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
