Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with cardiorespiratory conditions. This role involves managing mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management in various settings within the institution.
As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your duties will include assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating respiratory care plans, as well as educating patients and staff on respiratory health.
Your qualifications include a graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a recognized institution, registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists, and certification in CPR at NRP and ACLS levels. You must also be able to travel to other sites and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $32.43 to $40.66 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your hourly rate, you may be eligible for shift differentials and overtime pay.
