Job Title: Cabinet Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Installation Specialist to join our team at Walls Cabientry Plus. As a Cabinet Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing interior prefabricated products, ensuring professionalism in customer service, and utilizing hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Job Description:

  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience

Tasks:
  • Install interior prefabricated products
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Utilize laser alignment system
  • Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications
  • Measure wood products to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation
  • Install hardware on furniture and fixtures
  • Install hardware such as knobs and hinges
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
Supervision:
  • Kitchen cupboard and vanity installers
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
