Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cabinet Installation Specialist to join our team at Walls Cabinetry Plus. This position offers a permanent employment opportunity in a dynamic work environment.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment
  • Engagement in construction and renovation projects
  • Work in various locations, including urban and rural areas
  • Custom cabinet shop experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Install prefabricated interior products with precision
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain work requirements
  • Determine layout and installation methods
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations
  • Prepare and manage work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively
  • Employ laser alignment systems for accuracy
  • Ensure wood products meet specifications through careful measurement
  • Install hardware on furniture and fixtures, including knobs and hinges
  • Prepare specifications for custom cabinets to optimize storage solutions
Supervision
  • Oversee kitchen cupboard and vanity installation processes
Certifications
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • CSTS Certificate
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools
  • Familiarity with laser leveling and aligning tools
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and capability to manage heavy loads
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
Transportation
  • Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel as required
