About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Active Green and Ross. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the automotive industry, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Dusty and dirty work environment, with regular exposure to grease and other chemicals.
  • Work Setting: Garage and workshop setting.
